This product is a two-component coating formulated with high-thermal-conductivity polysilazane as the binder, compounded with graphene, aluminum silver powder, plastic fillers, compatibilizing additives and other components. After medium-temperature curing, the coating converts into a polysilazane–graphene composite coating. The Si–H-rich polysilazane oligomers form a dense, covalently bonded film with the fillers, imparting excellent corrosion resistance, thermal stability and thermal conductivity to the thermally conductive fillers. The coating withstands long-term service in a 500 °C environment without cracking or flaking.

Applications: (1) heat dissipation and thermal conduction for high-temperature devices and high-temperature sensor components; (2) surfaces of metallurgical equipment, molds and casting equipment; (3) electric heating elements, tanks, enclosures, heat exchangers and radiators; (4) small household appliances and kitchenware (burner caps, rice cookers, etc.); (5) high-temperature components in the chemical and metallurgical industries; (6) other applications requiring thermal management.

Service temperature. Maximum withstand temperature 800 °C; can be used long-term at 500 °C and withstands prolonged scouring by high-temperature gas flow at 500 °C. The temperature resistance of the coating varies according to the temperature resistance of the substrate (note: product performance differs depending on the substrate).

Aluminum, 310S stainless steel, 316 stainless steel and other high-temperature alloy steels. Note: the coating formulation differs for different substrates; within a certain range, it can be adjusted to match the substrate and its service conditions.

Storage, packaging & transport

  • Store in accordance with national regulations. The storage environment should be dry, cool and well ventilated, away from heat and ignition sources. Packaging containers must be kept tightly sealed and placed with care.

  • Storage temperature must be maintained between 10 °C and 30 °C; shelf life is 6 months.

  • Opened, partially used coating must be resealed tightly with the container lid for storage.

  • Mixed coating that is not used up cannot be reclaimed and should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

  • Product past its shelf life may be used only after testing confirms it still meets specifications.

Standard process: Surface cleaning → Abrasive roughening → Cleaning and blow-off → Spray/blade application → Curing

  • Abrasive roughening. Before coating, sand or blast the substrate surface to remove rust, dust, dirt and other contaminants adhering to the workpiece surface. Roughening has a significant effect on coating performance; Sa2.5 is optimal, with a minimum of St3 grade free of mill scale (GB/T 30790.4-2014), so pay close attention to this step.

  • Cleaning. Use a dedicated cleaning agent or degreaser to remove oil, dust and other residues remaining on the roughened surface.

  • Substrate drying. Before coating, ensure the substrate surface is dry and clean.

  • Coating mixing. This product is two-component; take appropriate amounts of coating according to the mixing ratio, stir until thoroughly and uniformly mixed, and filter through a 180-mesh screen before use.

  • Coating application. For laboratory spray application, a spray gun with a 1.0 nozzle gives better appearance and uniformity.

  • Curing. Air curing withstands 800 °C, with a long-term service temperature of 500 °C (nitrogen curing conditions available on request).

Note: This product is a two-component heat-curing product; use the mixed coating within 12 hours. For longer application sessions, clean application tools thoroughly to prevent them from setting. Dry film thickness should not exceed 35 µm, otherwise coating film performance will decline.
