The material

How this grade works and where it fits — exact parameters are defined in the TDS.

This product is a high-temperature-resistant release agent modified with boron nitride using a series of nanotechnologies. The coating exhibits excellent toughness, hardness, adhesion, anti-stick and anti-yellowing performance, with adhesion of Grade 1 (cross-cut), and provides a semi-permanent release effect.

The product is non-toxic and environmentally friendly and complies with RoHS and other relevant standards. It effectively solves mold-release problems in the forming of a wide range of materials and is widely used in mold release and many related fields.

Choose this grade as a boron-nitride-modified oil-based release agent for high-temperature moulds and tooling — usable from ambient temperature up to 1500 °C, ready 1–2 minutes after spraying.

Final fit is confirmed during technical review — send your substrate, operating environment and application process, and the team will confirm this grade or point you to a closer one.

Substrates & storage

Compatibility and handling essentials — confirmed per grade in the TDS and SDS.

Suitable substrates

Steel and stainless steel

Aluminium and other metals

Glass and ceramics

Stone and mineral surfaces

Stainless steel, glass (flat glass, glass bottles, etc.), cast iron, aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, high-temperature alloy steels, glass-ceramic plates, ceramics, photovoltaic glass panels and other such materials are all suitable. Note: The coating formulation differs for different substrates; within a certain range it can be adjusted and matched to the substrate and its specific service conditions.

Storage, packaging & transport

  • Store in accordance with national regulations. The storage environment should be dry, cool and well ventilated, away from heat and ignition sources. Packaging containers must be kept tightly closed and placed with care.

  • The storage temperature should be maintained at -20 °C to +50 °C; the shelf life is 12 months.

  • Opened, partly used material must be stored with the container lid tightly resealed.

  • Prepared material that is not used up cannot be reclaimed and should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

  • Product past its shelf life may be used only after testing confirms it still meets specifications.

Application process

General guidance — exact parameters are provided in the TDS and Application Guide.

01

Surface preparation

Clean, degrease and prepare the substrate.

02

Application

Spray, dip or wipe depending on grade.

03

Curing

Cure per the TDS conditions.

04

Quality control

Verify film build and adhesion.

  • Preparation. Stir the release agent thoroughly before use. At the same time, clean the mold surface, removing oil, rust, debris and residual contamination, to ensure the mold surface is clean and dry.

  • Spray application. Spray the release agent onto the mold surface from a distance of 20–30 cm, applying in even, constant-speed passes. Ensure the mold forming surface is completely covered, forming a thin, uniform release layer.

  • Standing before use. After spraying is complete, let stand for 1–2 minutes so that the release agent adheres fully to the mold surface and forms a stable film; subsequent forming operations can then be carried out.

  • Note. This product settles during prolonged storage; stir thoroughly with a mixer before use.
