The material
How this grade works and where it fits — exact parameters are defined in the TDS.
Rapid room-temperature-curing poly(silazane–siloxane) film-former; solvent-free, self-curing via hydrolysis and oxidation of Si-NH-Si with covalent bonding to the substrate. Forms a three-dimensional cross-linked network with good mechanical properties; pencil hardness ≥5H, no yellowing. The Si–N bond reacts readily with hydroxyl-containing substances, so the product also serves as an amine-type curing agent or as a modifier for phenolic, epoxy, alkyd and acrylic resins to improve their heat and weather resistance.
Choose EK-S02RC when a faster room-temperature cure and higher hardness (≥5H) are needed; choose EK-S02SC for the standard slow-cure schedule.

Substrates & storage
Compatibility and handling essentials — confirmed per grade in the TDS and SDS.
Suitable substrates
Steel and stainless steel
Aluminium and other metals
Glass and ceramics
Stone and mineral surfaces
Carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, high-temperature alloy steels, glass-ceramic panels, ceramics, cement and similar materials. The formulation is matched to the substrate and its service conditions.
Storage, packaging & transport
Store at 0–30 °C in tightly closed original containers. One-component self-curing product: once opened, use within 4 hours; clean tools thoroughly during longer breaks in application.
Packaging
1 kg / 5 kg / 25 kg (grade-dependent)

Application process
General guidance — exact parameters are provided in the TDS and Application Guide.
01
Surface preparation
Clean, degrease and prepare the substrate.
02
Application
Spray, dip or wipe depending on grade.
03
Curing
Cure per the TDS conditions.
04
Quality control
Verify film build and adhesion.
Apply in a single spray pass; recommended dry film up to 70 µm. A 1.0 mm nozzle gives the best appearance and uniformity. The cured coating is slightly hydrophobic and oleophobic, so recoating is not recommended.
