The material
How this grade works and where it fits — exact parameters are defined in the TDS.
Solvent-free, low-viscosity liquid polysilazane resin, used for heat-resistant, scratch-resistant and hydrophobic coatings.
EK-S02.1500 SC is the same product as Durazane 1500SC.
Applications
Scratch-resistant coatings for automotive interiors and exteriors
Hydrophobic and water-repellent coatings for construction, consumer goods and transport
Suitable for metal, glass and plastic substrates
Choose this grade when a longer working window matters: the same chemistry as EK-S02.1500 RC but a slower ambient cure, giving more time before the surface sets.
Final fit is confirmed during technical review — send your substrate, operating environment and application process, and the team will confirm this grade or point you to a closer one.
Suitable for
Industrial applications within the TDS parameters
Metal, glass, ceramic and stone substrates — per grade
Professional application and curing processes
Not intended for
Consumer or DIY use — industrial B2B supply only
Conditions outside the parameters defined in the TDS
Food-contact or medical use unless explicitly confirmed
