The material
How this grade works and where it fits — exact parameters are defined in the TDS.
On application and curing, the material forms its functional surface layer. The specific chemistry, cure conditions, film build and performance envelope for this grade are described in the TDS — request it below for the exact data.
Fit is confirmed during technical review: send your substrate, operating environment and application process, and our team will confirm whether this grade — or a related one — matches your requirement.
Suitable for
Industrial applications within the TDS parameters
Metal, glass, ceramic and stone substrates — per grade
Professional application and curing processes
Not intended for
Consumer or DIY use — industrial B2B supply only
Conditions outside the parameters defined in the TDS
Food-contact or medical use unless explicitly confirmed
Applications
Recommended application areas for this grade, based on its TDS. Application fit is confirmed during technical review.
Hydrolyzes faster and more efficiently than ethoxylated fluorosilanes; the reactive silanol bonds chemically with hydroxyl, carboxyl and oxygen-containing groups of inorganic and organic substrates, forming a self-assembled monomolecular fluorosilicone film. Treated surfaces show extremely low surface energy and excellent hydrophobic, oleophobic and antifouling behaviour.

Application process
General guidance — exact parameters are provided in the TDS and Application Guide.
01
Surface preparation
Clean, degrease and prepare the substrate.
02
Application
Spray, dip or wipe depending on grade.
03
Curing
Cure per the TDS conditions.
04
Quality control
Verify film build and adhesion.
Use an acid or alkali catalyst for surface treatment. The fluorosilane can be diluted to a 1–2% solution in isopropanol. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses; work in a well-ventilated environment.
