What are polymer ceramic precursors?
As the name suggests, when substance A is converted into substance B, substance A becomes the precursor of substance B, also called a precursor. If B is a ceramic, then substance A is a ceramic precursor.
Traditional ceramic precursors are generally sintered from ceramic powder, and this powder is called a powder ceramic precursor.
Ceramics converted from polymers are called polymer ceramic precursors (PDCS).
